The job, in plain terms
You're on the road solo, hauling dry van freight you never touch, running out of our Lemont, Illinois yard on OTR lanes — no dedicated routes. Most loads are drop-and-hook, so your day is spent driving, not standing at a dock.
You pick the pay plan: $0.70 to $0.75 a mile, or 30% of gross — gross pay, not line-haul, which beats what most competitors quote. A recruiter walks you through both options on your call so you can pick what actually fits your lanes.
What it takes
- Current, valid CDL-A license
- At least 2 years of verifiable OTR experience, any trailer type
- Clean driving record preferred
- Able to pass a DOT physical exam and drug test
- Authorized to work in the United States
What's included
A late-model automatic sleeper with APU, fridge and microwave, a dispatcher who actually knows your name, weekly direct deposit, safety and fuel bonuses, and both a rider program and pet-friendly policy.
Home time, and a bonus to start
Standard OTR rotation — typically 2 to 3 weeks out before you're home to reset. On top of that, every solo driver we bring on gets a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid out over your first several settlements.
